Or Spa Covers STACKED on top of each other on wood skids that get banged around and moved. Many stores just leave the stacks of spa covers outside in their yard!

Many times Hot Tubs bought at Home Shows don't come wrapped, many times the client buys the model on the floor. And often the Ho Tub Covers may not have any packaging . They get thrown in the back of a delivery pick up truck and get scraped easily.  During transport a spa cover can take a ding or two!

They are large awkward items to move around. To make something that big and that fragile , made of the most flimsy material that gets damaged just by handling it just never made sense. And then the LIGHT BULB came on!
